Vapor Trail, manufacturers of premium bow products for archery hunters worldwide, has been acquired by two brothers from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The company was purchased Jan. 3, 2020 by Rory and Patrick O’Loughlin.
“Vapor Trail was founded in 1993 by my brother Jarrod and me,” stated Steve Fondie, former Vapor Trail president. “Over the past 27 years, it has been a company that I was honored to attach my name to. We meticulously built this company on four things: superior quality, affordability, an expeditious shipping policy, and our loyal customer base. When we were approached by Rory to buy Vapor Trail, it was comforting to know that this business built by two brothers was being sold to two brothers.”
Rory O’Loughlin has been a lifelong bowhunter and a fan of Vapor Trail products long before he decided to purchase the company with his brother. His goal for the business is to build on the strength of the products, the distribution, and the technology.
“The Vapor Trail brand may market very specific archery equipment, but it is a giant within the industry,” said Rory O’Loughlin. “The brand is exceptionally strong, and I will continue to build on the Fondie brother’s legacy. For that reason, we are preserving the existing product line, the branding, the warranty and the entire team at Vapor Trail.”
To meet the new Vapor Trail owner, and to see the unveiling of the new Gen 7X Arrow Rest, stop by the Vapor Trail booth at ATA January 9-11, 2020, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
