Beaverton, Oregon-based Leupold announced August 25 the elite Federal Bureau of Investigation Hostage Rescue Team has adopted the Mark 6 scope as its go-to optic for the most demanding missions.

The Mark 6 is a 3-18x44 scope that delivers great imaging for close in work and pinpoint accuracy out to extended distances. According to Leupold staff, the scope is good for both tactical applications as well as hunting scenarios where game is engaged at a variety of distances.

The sight was originally designed for use by SEALs with the Naval Special Warfare Center and has been approved for a wide range of military and tactical applications. It's also a great optic for competitions and is used by top shooter and Army marksman Daniel Horner on some of his competition guns.

The scope is available with a wide range of reticles, including Mil Dot, illuminated TMR and Front Focal H-58. The Mark 6 3-18x44 retails with a starting MSRP of $2,749.99.
