Designed for locales where semi-auto ARs have been almost banned out of existence in the hands of law-abiding citizens, the new line of pump-action AR-style rifles bridges the gap between the modern sporting rifle and the kinder and what can be legally owned in the more restrictive states of the Union.
The Pump action rifles look externally quite similar to a standard AR, but they are actioned with a shotgun-like pump handguard. This means that these rifles are ergonomically similar to ARs and incorporate much of the same versatility that has made the AR and modern sporting rifle the leading gun in most segments of the firearms market.
The pump handguard features a full-length top rail for accessories and the stock is a side folder that can lock in place either folded or unfolded. It is adjustable in 5 length positions. Though the upper and lower receiver look like typical AR receivers, they are proprietary and not interchangeable with other AR receivers. It is currently available in black only, though other color options are in the works.
The Pump Action Rifle uses standard AR magazines and accuracy is equal to that of a bolt action thanks to the action being locked down while firing.
The Troy Pump Action Rifle is legal in all 50 U.S. states. It is available in .223 and 300 BLK ($799 MSRP) and in .308 ($899 MSRP). A Troy Pump Action Pistol is also available ($679 MSRP).
