TSSA Foundation Announces Additional Partnerships for 2019

Climbing, ladder and hang-on treestands can help generate revenue and get hunters into your store.

The Tree Stand Safety Awareness Foundation (TSSA) recently announced that six additional partners will join TSSA this year in its efforts to increase treestand safety awareness. The following companies or organizations will be joining the other great companies making up Team TSSA for 2019:

TSSA President Glen Mayhew said, “Partnering with these great companies and an outdoors TV show will exponentially help amplify the message of treestand safety. They value the importance of treestand safety and want to make sure every hunter using treestands does so with safety in mind.”

September is designated as Tree Stand Safety Awareness Month because it’s when most deer hunters start heading back to the woods and hang treestands in preparation for upcoming hunting season, making it an opportune time to raise awareness about stand safety. Hunters and members of the industry alike can help spread the message of TSSA Foundation.

Many believe treestand safety can take a back seat when hunting from ladder stands. Not true! Studies show that 20 percent of treestand fatalities happen out of ladder stands. Staying connected 100 percent of the time is a must no matter the treestand type.
