The 2019 outdoor archery season is shaping up as one of the most competitive ever because teams around the world are trying to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games. The first major event of the season took place recently in Medellin, Colombia and Team Easton archers won every gold medal.

Brady Ellison (top photo) clenched his record 10th World Cup Finals appearance by beating Korean star Lee Woo Seok in the recurve men’s final. Both archers, using Easton X10 arrows, came into the finals with great scores, but none higher than Ellison’s astounding 692/720 70-meter qualifier score. Ellison has a total of four World Cup Finals titles, making him the most-decorated shooter in World Cup history.

For compound archers, Sara Lopez of Colombia also qualified for this year’s World Cup Final with her victory in the women’s class, while Mike Schloesser edged out Braden Gellenthien for the men’s compound title.
