The Pope and Young Club annual convention, which had to be cancelled this spring in Virginia (along with every other major gathering), is the Club’s primary fundraiser for the year. Money raised from the event provides much needed support for the Club’s conservation, education and outreach efforts.
Each year 100 percent of the funds from the convention’s live auction go directly to the P&Y Club Conservation, Education and Outreach Program. This fund benefits programs such as wildlife research, education, pro-bowhunting activities, partnerships, wildlife conservation projects and youth programs.
Because of the unique and challenging conditions facing us all during spring 2020, the P&Y Club has announced a live online auction to highlight the many big game hunts generously donated to the cancelled Virginia convention.
The auction will be live streaming beginning at 4 p.m. (CST) on Saturday, March 28, 2020. You can bid online, by phone or by email. See details below.
John Bair will be the auctioneer for the evening. He has considerable experience conducting conservation auctions.
More on the P&Y Club’s Live Auction
The online auction is currently open and accepting bids on all the donated big game hunts. During the live feed, which will begin at 4 p.m. (CST), Saturday, March 28, 2020, auctioneer John Bair will take each hunt from whatever its current online bid is at the time, and then auction it live. Once Bair is done, that item will be closed/sold.
