Taurus Holdings, Inc. will establish a manufacturing facility in Bainbridge, Georgia, creating more than 300 new jobs with a combined investment of more than $22.5 million in infrastructure and operations.
This will be a total relocation of Taurus's operations from its current south Florida headquarters.
Bainbridge is located in Decatur County, in the southwest part of the state a short drive east of Alabama and north of Florida. Taurus USA, through its subsidiaries, manufactures or distributes the popular Taurus, Rossi, and Heritage Manufacturing product lines.
“Taurus USA’s decision to locate to Bainbridge is not only a win for the community, but for the region,” said Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Pat Wilson. “Georgia has a long history in the manufacturing industry sector, and we are excited to add Taurus to the long list of manufacturers based here.
"I am confident that our thriving pro-business environment and unmatched logistics network along with the abundance of resources available in Bainbridge including a skilled workforce will allow Taurus to succeed in Georgia," Wilson added.
Taurus USA is one of the firearms industry’s leading manufacturers. It has extensive plans to expand its U.S. engineering and production over the next several years. Through 2025, Taurus USA intends to invest a substantial amount of capital and resources in the Bainbridge area, providing a positive economic impact as it employs skilled labor, administrative personnel, customer service representatives and management teams in the new facility.

This is the second big announcement for Taurus in recent weeks. Kevin Riggott was announced as as new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the company. Riggott joins Taurus USA with more than 20 years of experience as a senior financial leader in manufacturing and retail business.
