The bolt-action Model 212 (12 gauge) and 220 (20 gauge) turkey shotguns from Savage are built around the Model 110 rifle action, machined from steel bar stock and secured three-dimensionally along its entire length by the AccuStock internal chassis. The 22-inch free-floating carbon steel barrel is secured to the receiver using a Model 110-style locking nut that ensures shot-to-shot consistency.
The AccuFit system on these shotguns allows the turkey hunter to adjust the comb height and length-of-pull for a custom fit. The AccuTrigger is also user-adjustable. Model 212 and 220 turkey shotguns feature detachable two-round magazines, one-piece synthetic stock with Mossy Oak Obsession camouflage and a one-piece rail for optics. Additional features include an oversize bolt knob for easier operation with gloved hands, and an interchangeable extra-full turkey choke with Win. choke threads.
The Savage Model 212 has an MSRP of $779 and the Model 220 has an MSRP of $695.
