Gateway Feathers / Batwing Shape

While tried-and-true feathers have a long history in archery, Gateway’s (520-805-0863) quality feather fletching is anything but stodgy – the company even turned to social media for the name of its latest feather shape, designing a contest to help choose the name. The unique Batwing is available in 2-inch, 3 ½-inch and 4 ½-inch lengths in all of Gateway’s right wing solid colors. The 2-inch Batwing ($19/50-pack) is ½ inch (13 mm) tall and weighs 1.2 grains; the 3 ½-inch Batwing measures ½ inch tall (15 mm) and weighs 2.4 grains, and the 4 ½-inch Batwing is ½ inch tall (16.5 mm) and 3.15 grains.
