The latest addition to Barnett’s Whitetail Hunter series, the 400 XTR, weighs only 6.5 pounds and generates higher velocity (400 fps) compared to its predecessors — 25 fps faster than the previous generation, producing 135 foot-pounds of kinetic energy. Axle-to-axle width is 10-inches (cocked), which improves maneuverability without sacrificing power.
Its TriggerTech 3-pound zero-creep frictionless release trigger engages with the anti-dry fire trigger system to prevent accidental discharge while unloaded. Composite laminated limbs are attached to the frame with a single-bolt assembly, and a Soft-Lok floating bristle arrow retainer guarantees proper placement and retention of arrows. This out-of-the-box hunting crossbow comes standard with a 4x32mm multi-reticle scope, three integrated Picatinny rails for attaching additional accessories, two 22-inch Headhunter arrows, rope cocking device and lubrication wax. The 400 XTR comes dressed in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo. MSRP: $599.99/400 XTR package. Contact: www.barnettcrossbows.com
