Offered in an all-black or FDE Cerakote finish in either 12-gauge or .410-bore, the Escort SDX tactical shotgun has a new gas piston design that is mounted around the barrel, eliminating the secondary tube that is typically mounted below the barrel of a semi-automatic shotgun, reducing the weight and bulk of the gun while minimizing felt recoil and muzzle rise. A synthetic polymer lower receiver features an alloy magazine well and Hatsan’s ThermoDefend forend absorbs and dissipates heat from the barrel.
