USA Archery recently announced several grant opportunities for Collegiate Archery Program coaches in 2021. It is a critical part of USA Archery’s strategic plan to provide expanded grant opportunities for collegiate programs, specifically for coach education and development.
New for 2021, USA Archery announced that student-athletes and student-coaches who are interested in pursuing coaching/judging archery after college can also apply for these opportunities. Students who are the current coach of a collegiate club and are interested in pursuing coaching long-term may apply for these grants as well.
Coaches applying for these grants must be officially recognized by the school, however, they are not required to be full time, salaried, or university faculty/staff. The Collegiate Archery Program Membership must also be in good standing with USA Archery in order for a coach to apply for these opportunities.
Grant opportunities include:
- USA Archery Level 1 and Level 2 Online Judge Course Grant
- USA Archery Virtual Level 3NTS Course Grant
- USA Archery Level 4NTS Course Grant
- USA Archery Virtual Symposium Grant
Eligible individuals may apply for any and all of the grant opportunities. Click here to access the grant application, details for each grant type and instructions for submission. The application deadline is May 31, 2021. Contact USA Archery at collegearchery@usarchery.org for more information.
