Fort Benning, Georgia, was the site for the final championship round of the McKenzie ASA Classic Championship, and Team Bowtech Senior Pro Tim Gillingham (above) added more hardware to his trophy case.
With a tight race for Shooter of the Year in the Senior Pro division, Gillingham pulled ahead on Friday to secure the honor, which is the second of his career. He then buttoned up this last competition of the 2021 ASA season with a first-place podium (below).
When asked about his archery gear Gillingham said, “The past two years shooting Bowtech’s new Deadlock cam and pockets have been the most consistent I’ve ever had in my long archery career. Enough can’t be said as to how dependable and easy these bows are to shoot!”
Dave Parker, VP product marketing for the Pure Archery Group, said, “Winning Shooter of the Year requires consistency from your bow, and combined with Tim’s tireless work ethic, it’s never surprising when we see him at the top of the podium and earning Shooter of the Year titles. We’re proud to have Tim on Team Bowtech.”
With a bit of reprieve from competition shooting, Gillingham will now turn his attention to pursuing big game with his bow.
