Avid waterfowlers have certainly heard of the conservation organization Delta Waterfowl, as well as Remington Arms Company. Beginning in 2019, the two will be working together to produce more ducks and promote the fun and tradition of duck hunting.
“We are excited to be in a meaningful partnership with The Duck Hunters Organization,” said Christian Hogg, director of marketing for Remington. “Delta is leading the way in waterfowl conservation and securing the tradition of waterfowl hunting.”
Remington’s legacy in the gun and ammo world spans more than 200 years, and its shotguns and shotshells have been trusted in duck blinds for generations. Remington’s reputation in the waterfowl arena is certainly well deserved, starting with the introduction of the first American-made semiauto shotgun in 1906 (Remington Model 11) and the best-selling shotgun of all time in 1950 (Remington Model 870), to its current and very popular semiauto shotguns, the Remington Versa Max and V3.
“We are thrilled to welcome Remington as a corporate sponsor,” said Brad Heidel, senior director of corporate partnerships and advertising sales for Delta Waterfowl. “Delta Waterfowl and Remington Arms Company are two historic brands that have stood the test of time, and yet continue to invent game-changing ideas, so this is a natural fit.”
