Paige Pearce Sets U.S. National Record at World Cup in Guatemala

Team USA pro shooter Paige Pearce (26) from Red Bluff, California, not only qualified recently first during stage 1 at the World Cup in Guatemala, but she also broke the U.S. national women’s compound record with a score of 707 points. Shooting her Bowtech Reckoning 38, Pearce now holds the national indoor record and the national outdoor record. Shooting 72 arrows at a distance of 50 meters (54.7 yards), she scored 707 points out of a possible 720 points.

“I couldn’t be more excited about the outcome at the Guatemala World Cup,” Pearce said. “I went into this shoot with a goal, and came out better than I had hoped. It is no surprise that my Bowtech Reckoning 38 found its mark time and time again. Without the accuracy that the DeadLock cam system provides, I would not have been able to set the U.S. national record and qualify in first place.”

As a result of this stellar performance, Jeff Suiter, director of marketing for Bowtech said, ““Paige continues to establish herself as one of the all-time greats of the sport. Bowtech is incredibly proud to have a shooter like Paige to be a positive role model and strong competitor in every event she attends. We look forward to her continued success with the Bowtech Reckoning series.”
