Davidson’s Teams with Pietta for New Exclusives
Davidson’s recently announced that they are pairing up with Pietta, an Italian company known for their authentic historical firearm reproductions, to release an exclusive trio of firearms.
After a successful launch of the Exclusive single-action 1873 revolvers in June of 2020, Davidson’s will now offer two more variations of the 1873 Western. The new offerings are convertible models coming with both cylinders chambered in 45 Colt and 45 AP. They offered with a 4.75-inch and a 5.5-inch barrel both with a blued finish. The trigger guard, front strap and back strap are high-polished brass.
Along with the two models of revolver, they are releasing the 1878 Double Barrel Deluxe Coach side-by-side 12-gauge shotgun featuring 20-inch barrels, walnut stock and a 2.75-inch chamber. Each shotgun is equipped with fixed cylinder chokes, bead sight, double trigger and double working hammers.

Federal Receives 3-Year Contract for Defense Ordinance Technology Consortium
The Defense Ordinance Technology Consortium has awarded Federal Ammunition a 3-year contract to design, develop and demonstrate ammunition to enhance the Warfighter’s lethality, survivability and combat effectiveness.

Federal will collaborate on programs aimed at improving small caliber ammunition performance be providing advanced research and development. “By supporting combat operations with precision products designed for long-range fire on select targets, our objective is to increase a soldier’s lethality and survivability with advanced ammunition capabilities,” says David Leis, vice president of government sales.
Christensen Arms Partner’s with Artist for RMEF
Christensen Arms announced that they are proudly joining up with recognized paper collage and 3D sculpture artist, Dolan Geiman, to support the conservation and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
“Christensen Arms has always been a long-time proponent of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. We are extremely proud of this special opportunity to support the RMEF and continue our shared heritage of conservation in this creative way,” says Meredith McCaskill, vice president of marketing at Christensen Arms.
Dolan used recycled metal and carbon fiber collected by Christensen employees to create sculpture of the Christensen Arms Ram called, High Country King. The sculpture is to be auctioned to the highest bidder with the minimum bid starting at $3,900. All proceeds made from the auction will be donated to RMEF. The auction opens on June 23 and will end June 27 at 6:00 p.m. MT. Any bidder can buy immediately at a reserve price of $12,500.
