Bowhunters United (BU), a national organization for bowhunters, is owned and operated by the Archery Trade Association (ATA). The ATA recently relaunched BU with new membership levels, a new mission statement, a user-friendly website, and a year-long membership sweepstakes.
BU’s mission is to unite bowhunters and promote and preserve the sport of archery. The organization celebrates the lifestyle, focuses on conservation efforts, promotes a positive image of bowhunters, and advocates on behalf of bowhunters nationwide.
Bowhunters United is the first national organization focused on the bowhunter, regardless of why, how, when or where they participate. BU’s unique relationship to the industry allows the organization to offer exclusive benefits unavailable anywhere else because it leverages existing relationships with like-minded organizations. BU empowers consumers to contribute to the work the industry does to invest in the sport. BU will unite millions of constituents, is a trusted resource for all things bowhunting, and gives bowhunters a voice through advocacy efforts and partnerships.
Additionally, three new BU membership tiers are now available at an annual rate. The basic membership is $30, standard is $60, and premium is $100. Members receive an official membership card, window decal, vinyl sticker, BU swag, entries into the Bowhunters United Membership Sweepstakes, and discounts on hunting products based on the membership tier they choose. The Bowhunters United Membership Sweepstakes started Oct. 1, 2021. All members will be automatically entered to win over $50,000 worth of prizes, including fantastic hunts and exclusive gear. Current members will be entered into the sweepstakes as well. The basic membership includes one entry, standard includes five entries, and premium includes 10 entries. Drawings will be held quarterly. The first drawing in January 2022 features three different grand prize hunts, a UTV and an e-bike.
