Dubbed “The Gun You Wear,” Taurus has literally shaken the concealed carry handgun world to its core with a revolutionary design that for the first time attacks the actual shape of a handgun and how it fits on the body.
Developed over three years at its Miami, Florida, manufacturing plant, the new Taurus Curve features a polymer frame that’s shaped to bend around a shooter’s body, contouring to the hip for inside the waistband carry. The Curve’s grip, trigger guard and magazine insert form a slight “C” shape that bends just right where most shooters place their firearm while concealed.
Chambered in .380 ACP, the Curve comes equipped with a heavy-duty belt clip — similar to an everyday carry knife clip — and a polymer trigger guard that’s secured with a lanyard. All the shooter needs to do is wrap the lanyard around a belt loop, slip the Curve inside her waistband and secure it to pants with the clip. When a shooter draws the Curve, the lanyard pulls the trigger guard off and the pistol is ready to roll.

And as if that weren’t enough, the Curve comes equipped with an integrated laser and light combo from LaserLyte molded into the frame. The Curve shoots well and is pretty accurate at short distances using the integrated laser. It’s a little on the small side, so shooters with larger hands might have some issues.
But the Curve is packed with features and an innovative design that’ll be attractive to any customer looking for the perfect concealed carry handgun. And with an MSRP of $392, the Curve is an excellent value for most budgets.
