Browning is expanding its Citori 725 line of over-under shotguns with 12 gauge Trap and Skeet models. The Citori 725 series is based on the legendary B25 Superposed, one of the first over and under shotguns and the last gun ever designed by John M. Browning before his death in 1926. The Citori 725 uses a low-profile receiver for improved recoil control and less muzzle jump and the FireLite mechanical trigger for a reduced take up, crisp break, and shorter travel. The FireLite trigger doesn’t use recoil to set the next shot but rather is immediately ready for the second shot.
The new Trap and Skeet Citori 725s are both available in standard stock or adjustable comb models. They both utilize Browning’s Inflex recoil pad to divert recoil down and away from the shooter’s face for more comfort and faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The new-generation Inflex recoil pads are slippery to prevent snagging on clothing. Both models use Grade III/IV walnut stocks. The Trap guns have a gloss finish while Skeet guns get a gloss varnish finish.
The Citori 725 Trap will be available with 30-inch or 32-inch barrels with a high post rib. The Citori 725 Skeet will be offered with 28-inch or 30-inch barrels. Both models will come with three Invector-DS chokes and Hi-Viz Pro-Comp sights.
