Legacy Sports International has announced their new YOTE camouflage pattern. The YOTE design by Thunder Mountain Camouflage is based on coyote fur and was developed with the help of Les Johnson, champion coyote caller and host of Predator Quest TV. Johnson will be using YOTE camouflaged shotguns on the program.
Coyotes have survived this long by being wiley and hard to pick up in the wild, and the YOTE pattern is designed to mimic that performance. It is designed to blend well in the field, working well across a wide range of background terrain and cover. Predator hunters, especially, will have a special appreciation for the camouflage.
YOTE camo is available on the Escort semi-auto shotgun offered by Legacy Sports International. The Escort YOTE is available in 20 gauge youth models and standard 12 gauge full-size models. Both guns have synthetic stocks. The Escort YOTE Youth has a 20-inch barrel, an overall length of 42 inches, and weighs 6.35 pounds. The 12 gauge Model has a 22-inch barrel, an overall length of 48 inches, and weighs 7.0 pounds.
The YOTE camo is also available on the Howa YOTE Ranchland Compact bolt-action rifle. The Ranchland Compact is available in .223, .204 Ruger, .22-250, .243, 7mm-08, and .308. All models have a 20-inch barrel and an overall length of 13.87 inches. They weigh in at 8.75 pounds. All models have a synthetic stock and feature the Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger. The H.A.C.T. is a creep-free match-quality two stage trigger with a crisp, light pull and consistent let-off. All models come with a Nikko Stirling Nighteater 3-10x42mm scope or a Nighteater 4-16x44mm scope with YOTE camo.
