Target acquisition and aiming with the Bowtech Carbon One felt nearly effortless to the author. A fairly straight riser, high let-off and wide riser ends, pockets and limbs contribute to the stability.
According to Bowhunting World Field Editor Darron McDougal, Bowtech’s latest carbon marvel raises the technology and performance bars. The Carbon One measures 30 inches axle-to-axle, has a brace height of 6.63 inches, and weighs 4.5 pounds (bow only). He says the DeadLock Cam System’s tuning feature is genius, and so is the FlipDisc feature, allowing the shooter to alternate between Comfort and Performance settings, which alter let-off, draw smoothness and velocity based on individual preference.
